• WHO ARE WE?

The Fano office is directly affiliated with the Center of Strategic Therapy founded in Arezzo, Tuscany by Giorgio Nardone and Paul Watzlawick in 1987. Arezzo’s is an institution renowned for its research, training and clinics and is the headquarters of the Graduate School of Brief Strategic Psychotherapy, officially recognized by MIUR (Ministero Istruzione Università Ricerca or Ministry of International Research), in addition to overseeing the School of Communications and Strategic Problem Solving, also found in Arezzo, Tuscany. The Center of Strategic Therapy operates nationally and internationally, developing innovative and efficient protocols for treatment of specific pathologies and interpersonal problems after years of rigorous empirical experimentation and research, from which newer, more progressive models continue to be discovered and applied to clinical intervention, and not without unwarranted scientific praise and acknowledgement. Today the institution is visited not only by its native Italian patients and American affiliates, but also by numerous travelers coming from all parts of the world solely out of their curiosity to better understand the structure and implication of this process. More than 200 of these individuals are currently active collaborators, including but not limited to practitioners of Brief Therapy, Communication and Strategic Problem Solving. As a result of and thanks to the overwhelming consensus of participation, research continues to revolutionize the protocols of treatment already in place for its target pathologies, moving at a constant towards the improvement of its efficacy and efficiency.
